Virtual filmmaking workshops during the Easter holidays with award-winning documentary filmmakers Chocolate Films.
For young people aged 12-18.
We are looking for young filmmakers in North London to take part in a series of free online filmmaking workshops during the Easter Holidays.
You will learn how to craft a story, create a storyboard, film at home and edit your film.
At the end of the course you will have your own completed short film.
This exciting opportunity is offered as part of the St Mellitus organ restoration project, generously supported by the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
The final films will be available to watch online at the St Mellitus organ project website.
Participants and their families and friends will be invited to attend a premiere of the films at a date to be decided in the Summer; Covid restrictions permitting, this will be a live event.
The course is made up of 4 x 2 hour workshops. They will take place on: Tuesday 6th, Friday 9th, Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th April
10:30am – 12:30pm
You will need: A device to a join the zoom sessions and something to film with – a smart phone or tablet will work.
Places are limited, so if you are interested please email Emma at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: all participants will need to log in with an adult (parent/carer) and can then attend alone. Video screens will need to be on so that we can interact as a group. Younger participants may require an adult to be nearby, in case technical help is needed.
We hope you can join us!
