Biography:
Frank Ellis was a Stroud Green resident who served as a Private in the London Regiment. Before and after the war Frank worked as a bank clerk, and in 1921 he was appointed a Trustee of New Court Chapel.
Frank’s younger brother Eric also served in the London Regiment and was killed in action in France on 27 August 1916. He is commemmorated in St Mellitus Church.
